Founded because the outdoors needs good Gear with good morals

Hi, I’m Jamie the Founder of Ratuski.

I founded Ratuski because I saw a problem with how climbing was contributing so much to land fill. We are creating rubbish in the outdoors that takes hundreds of years to break down. And I said to myself.

“It’s time for a change”

So who am i and how did i get here?

First and and formost I’m an adventure, health buff and enviromentalist, secondally I am a VERY proud business owner. I started my business journey a couple of years ago making dog leads from retired climbing rope. I love creating and giving old gear a new life.

It’s my way of giving back to the environment, my way to save old ropes from landfill and give it a new purpose.

You see I don’t just believe that I can truley make a change, I believe that you can too. My mission is to start a community (That’s where you come in) to spread awareness about a more sustainable gear option.
